1. What have I learned?

a. I have more clearly the topics and even I don’t learned the names and the correct way to called them I developed the knowledge to do English activities with high quality.

b. A class considered boring could be fun and benefic if we do our stuff more varied and if we are aware about learning English is necessary at present.

2. What did I do to improve? Did I try hard enough?

I’m better in the listening section that used to be my lowest on my toefl exam.

3. What can I improve even more?

a. Keep practicing the toefl sections with online exercises

b. We need to be constant and organize our time so that we do everything in stride.

4. How can I improve? What is the most important thing I got from this course?

To improve my English level I did all the classwork and the homework in a more conscious way.

5. What I am going to do in order not to lose what I’ve learned so far?

PRACTICE. I’ll practice with my friends speaking in English and I’ll continue reading some news daily. With those actions I’m going to keep what I learned this semester.

6. Why I think is English such an important requirement at TEC?

Because Tec is considered the best college in Mexico and English could be seen as a basic tool we need to learn here. English is necessary because it is considered an universal language and many cultural or educational things are made in that idiom.

7. Could I survive abroad in a place where English were the only way to communicate? Why?

I do not speak Chinese and I studied abroad last semester in China. The only way to communicate with everybody there was in English or acting. I saw that all the signals in places like the subway or he menu in many restaurants were wrote in Chinese and English.

8. How important is for my professional life to communicate in English?

Is very important because the businesses nowadays are made in many different languages and if almost everyone speak English the communication could be easier.

9. What job opportunities could I apply to due to my knowledge of English?

Apply for jobs in different countries or in companies with international branches.

10. Is English enough or I need to study another language? Why?

English has become a very important language in the past several decades yet it is not enough to be competitive in the world. Learning another language opens up new opportunities and gives you perspectives that you might never have encountered otherwise. Personal, professional, social, and economic considerations all point to the advantages of learning foreign languages.

11. What other language would I like/need to learn? Why?

I would like to learn French because it is very a common language in many countries although it is the language of the culture and arts.
